Equipment for 100% production automation – automated shot peening process for metal springs using a Siapro shot peening machine and robotic handling system

The Siapro shot peening machine had been in operation at the customer’s site for several years before being upgraded to achieve full automation and 100% robotic operation. The mechanical and robotic equipment was designed according to a custom-made concept and delivered as a turnkey project, including commissioning. The machine and robot are required to handle heavy leaf springs, therefore the primary objective was to establish a fully automated production process without any manual intervention, ensuring safe, stable, and repeatable operation.Video of a robotic machine in the production process
